Geometric measurement technology spans an extremely wide field. We are able to offer you turnkey systems for specific measurements, but in truth Easy-Laser® can be expanded, combined and upgraded to suit any of your measurement needs, now or in the future.

A universal system for machine applications
Versatile basic system* for geometrical measurements. Thoroughly proven reliability and user-friendly design makes it easy for you to measure almost anything. Simply add laser transmitters and other accessories to suit your purposes. Typical applications: Straightness, flatness, right angles, parallelism and spindle direction in machine tools, mechanical constructions etc.
*This is a basic system, which means that you must add suitable laser transmitters and other measurement accessories as necessary for a complete system.

For measuring flatness, straightness, squareness, parallelism and spindle direction. The laser beam can sweep 360° with a measurement distance of 40 metres in radius. The beam can be deflected at 90° to the sweep, within 0.01 mm/m.

For measuring spindle direction and straightness. Can be used in a rotating spindle (max. 2000rpm). Mounting pins with different diameters can be used. The mounting pin can be fitted at either end, for use when aligning rod cartridges, for example. Measurement distance - 20 metres.

For measuring straightness and spindle direction. M6 threads on ends and sides offer alternative mounting options. Measurement distance - 40 metres.

For aligning extrusion machines
The system is designed to measure straightness and direction of pointing, primarily on extruder pipes. Another application can be hydraulic pipes for example. The well-thought-out design of the system ensures that the measurement procedure is quick and accurate. Diameters down to 42 mm can be measured (accessory detector available for diameters down to 20 mm).

For straightness measurement of bores and bearing journals
For straightness measurement of bores and bearing journals in diesel engines (for example crank and camshaft bearings), gearboxes, propeller shaft installations, as well as positioning workpieces in machine tools. Measures both full and half bearing positions with equal simplicity. Extremely stable design for maximum accuracy, resolution 0.001 mm [0.05 mils]. For use both in production and out in the field.
With the standard system, bores from 100 mm to 500 mm [3.9-19.7"] can be measured (accessories for other diameters made to order). Measurement distance up to 40 m [132 feet]. The system automatically calculates the bores' positions in relation to each other both horizontally and vertically.

Accessories: Extension arms Linebore 500-1000 mm [19.68"-39.36"]

The points can be measured and adjusted in any order. The measured reference line (A) can be offset (B) in the measurement program. This is especially useful when measuring and adjusting turbine diaphragms and bearing positions that have different centre lines due to thermal expansion.

For measuring and aligning turbines, compressors etc.
For straightness measurement of bearing journals and diaphragms, where there are bearing halves with different diameters, primarily in turbines. Compressors are another application. Resolution 0.001 mm [0.05 mils]. Simple setup and measuring procedure.
Measurement distance up to 40 m [132 feet]. The system automatically calculates the bores' positions in relation to each other both horizontally and vertically.
Easy-Laser® Turbine systems are available in four configurations designed to meet different requirements (D660, D662, D663, D664) and are delivered in a waterproof case with castors for easy handling. Read more in the pdf brochure.

For parallelism measurement
For parallelism measurement of rolls and stands in numerous applications. Any chosen object or the baseline can be used as a reference. You can also use the system to measure level, straightness and flatness on wire ends (suction boxes), flatness on bases and straightness on rolls. With a few accessories you can also perform shaft alignment. Typical applications for system D670 are papermaking machines, printing presses, rolling mills etc.

Easier and faster flatness measuring
With this measurement system measurement and alignment times can be shortened considerably. This is how it works in brief: The laser beam from the transmitter rotates constantly and creates a reference plane over the entire measurement object. You place the detector at the desired measurement points and register the reading by a push of a button. If required, you can also read the measurement values "live" with up to four detectors connected in series, to see how the measurement object moves/turns at each measurement position during adjustment.
Typical applications: Straightness and flatness of machine tables and bases, flatness of flanges, parallelism between press tables, plane-parallelism between rails and rolls etc.
